New dishes

Not much of excitement going on right now in my world.  Katie already blogged on the fun stuff (NCAAs and David Gray concert), so I figured I'd blog about my own little joy... new dishes! Katie and I were sick of her Ty Pennington dishes.  They'd seen better days and had pretty much run their course, so she decided to donate them to a local charity. We then went out and bought some fun square shaped plates at Shopko.  Cheap but cute is always the way to go right? We got 4 orange and 4 purple big plates, and 4 lime green and  4 blue little plates, figuring mix & match was the way to go. Unfortunately, we didn't really like the bowls that went with them, so we were forced to survive on two TP bowls, and two Fiesta bowls. 

So to remedy the situation, I decided to take advantage of the Bon's sale and a Christmas card from Pat & Glo to get some fun Fiestaware bowls.  Of course multi-colored as well.  Fiestaware is tied for my favorite kitchenware with Aranaware (which I also bought some new bowls and plates-4 of each).  Here's a picture of my cute new bowls- 2 of each color.  I'll put up a pic of my new Aranware when it arrives.
