The Extremely Pink Ombre Cake

As promised, here is Katie's pink ombre cake.  It turned out very cute and extremely tasty! Here's the step-by-step of this creation.

Cakes were dyed with liquid dye 1/2 batch at a time. 

Katie was there to tell me how dark she wanted each layer.

The finished layers.  I let them cool overnight, covered with
plastic wrap to be safe.

The decorated masterpiece.  I couldn't find magenta frosting,
so I had to make due with light pink.

And the reveal! It was perfect!
