Yesterday, I was asked to sing at Sean's memorial on Valentine's Day. I do love to sing, and my voice isn't bad, but I have to admit, I'm a bit terrified to do this. Mostly, because I'm not sure I will be able to make it through a couple of the songs we are thinking about doing without crying. However, I love Sean and Dawn, so I am going to go into this with my head held high, and tears at bay. I invited a few of my camp buddies to join me in the singing, as Dawn specifically requested Camp Cross songs for the Communion. As hard as it will be, I know it will be joyful to offer up some of their favorites for the service.
In the meantime, I am a little sad thinking about Sean and the upcoming funeral, so I needed a little pick-me-up in my day. I changed my computer background at school to this picture I took last summer to help bring a smile to my face throughout my day. Hope you like it too.

1. pic has the most beautiful colors! I want to dye some yarn just like that.
2. brave of you to sing at the funeral! I could never do it bc no one would ever ask me to sing in public and I'd also have to be drunk, which wouldn't be so good. You are a good friend!
You are very brave. I also do not have any kind of singing voice. So sorry about your friend.
