A little late on this one! Sorry, I refused to blog while in Roatan since the internet was a bit slow while on the island. Katie, mom and I ventured down to Roatan, Honduras for Christmas to meet up with dad, Patty, Cara and Tony. We had a week of fun, sun, games and relaxation. Honestly, I've never returned to school so relaxed and at peace after a vacation (hopefully, I can hold onto that feeling for a few weeks!)

We had a great time on the island. Most of our time was spent hanging out with each other at the house playing card games, tanning by the pool, and reading. One day, mom, Cara and Tony adventured out into the bay on kayaks (of course mom fell in trying to board her boat). The house was really pretty perfect with it's wrap-around porch, pool and dock.

We did eventually leave the house. We rented a car from our caretaker Junior's daughter to explore the island for a couple of days. We drove the length of the island, with Frankin (Junior's grandson) acting as our tour guide, showing us all the sites. We got Katie up our 65 stairs one day to join us for ziplining and a day at Turqoise Bay for swimming.
Our vacation was amazing! I loved almost every minute of our family time together :) and enjoying such a paradise. I can't wait for next year's adventure.

thank goodness you were along to photograph it all, bc the rest of us are basically terrible at that part. I had the best time EVER, and I hope I was a good enough guest to get invited next year (I promise not to cheat at Uno!)
