My friends Skip and Angie (who were staff members when I was a senior high camper) are having their son Mitchell baptized this Sunday, an event I was planning on attending on my day off this week. So Sunday, I got a very exciting phone call up at camp. Skip asked me if I would be Mitchell's godmother, along with our friend Steve, who had already agreed to be his godfather. I, of course, agreed! I've never been anyone's godparent before, and am really excited for the new role. The Hubbard's are some of my favorite people. Wish me luck in my new adventure! :)
