Yarn Crawl 2012

Tate gets some knitting in at Twisted
Great fun was had by all on the 2012 Rose City Yarn Crawl.  After finally getting to the hotel Friday night (it took the hotel 45 minutes to drive the 5 minutes to the airport to pick us up), mom and I settled into our king-sized bed to rest up for the yarn store extravaganza.
With Tate in charge of getting everyone's passports stamped, and me in charge of navigation via cell phone, we were off for some yarn adventures.  We somehow managed to hit 14 or so of the 19 stores on Friday.  We bought a ton of yarn, made a pit-stop for hat shopping (where Pam and I were pressured into buying really cute hats), and rated every shop we went to (favorites were Happy Knits, Twisted and Dublin Bay), and were in and outers at a couple spots (Yarnia...)
We won some door prizes at Close Knits, and mom just found out she won their awesome yarn basket!
We spent today in the Narode-Falcone room knitting at Tate's request, and got some serious progress done on our projects.
All in all it was a delightful weekend with the Narode girls and Susna!
