If you haven't heard yet, I got that horrible cold that doesn't go away. I've basically been sick since the first week of January (probably the reason no one invited me to go to Austin until it was too late for me to get it off). :) I am finally not spending all day sneezing and coughing, although I'm not quite 100%. So since I've been sick I haven't been doing much of anything, other then some knitting.

I finished two projects: my jeweled cowl (which I've been wearing non-stop), and my Holly and Ivy mittens, and I started on my next Liturgical year project, The Rose of Sharon Shawl. Mom donated me some beautiful Madelinetosh merino yarn, and I've been knitting away while Lucy and I missed our roommates and watched some Super Bowl. It's going pretty quick so far, but that will slowdown as it's knit from the center out. Not too much else to report other then that. I've been busy coaching 7th grade girls basketball at our junior high. I have 6 girls on my team this year, and no, that is not a good thing. I set my team goal at winning at least 1 game with my Little-Engines-That- Could. We played two games without a single sub, before everyone was eligible. My girls are tough. Most of the JV teams we are playing have at least 20 girls, and somehow, we manage to win against the odds. Going into our last two games, we are undefeated. Here's hoping we end the week undefeated. Nice job Freeman Raiders! Next up, 8th grade boys basketball. Never a dull moment for me. :)
